Provider Verification Methodology

Updated: August 31, 2026

How PetCare Alabama decides which veterinary provider details are safe enough to publish.

Decision-ready summary:

How PetCare Alabama verifies Alabama veterinary provider names, locations, phone numbers and service types.

  • Verify current hours, intake status and services directly with the provider.
  • Compare clinical capability and transfer needs, not star ratings alone.
  • Time-sensitive business details can change; confirm before travel.

What we verify

Provider name, location, phone, provider type and publicly listed hours pattern from current sources. Where practical, the provider's own website is compared with structured business listings.

What we do not claim

No invented treatment prices, “best vet” rankings, live wait times, guaranteed walk-in acceptance or guaranteed procedure availability.

Alabama licensing check

The Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners provides licensee resources and states that the public may contact the board to ascertain the status of veterinarians licensed in Alabama.

Verification date

Phase 5 records were reviewed on August 30, 2026. Call before travel.

Publication rule

If a provider cannot be reliably cross-checked, we do not fill the gap with guessed data. The city page shows verification pending.
